The Blackhawk™ USB200 JTAG Emulator (USB200) is a TI

XDS200-class emulator that is small, lightweight and port-

able. The USB200 product is compatible with the TI XDS2xx

reference design and include (2) visible status LEDs.

The USB200 offers an excellent balance of performance and

price placing it in between the super low cost XDS100 and

high performance XDS560 class emulators. The USB200 is

compatible with Code Composer Studio IDE (CCS) v5.2.0

with the latest TI emulation update applied. For CCS v3.3

emulator solutions, please contact Blackhawk Support.

The controller supports the compact TI 20-pin JTAG header

and voltage ranges from 1.5 to 4.1v (i.e. 1.8v and 3.3v tar-

gets). The USB host port permits communications with the

host PC and two LEDs give operational status.

The USB200 supports the TI UniFlash™ programming utility

and CCS DSS Java Scripting along with the Blackhawk

Flashburn utility.

Blackhawk also has available an optional Isolation Adapter

which protects from ground loop voltage, harsh environments

and new, untested designs. Supports 3.3-5.0v targets with TI

14-pin and cTI 20-pin connections.

The TI XDS200 reference design does not support older de-

vice families, such as C24x, C62xx, C670x, C671x, C672x,

C641x.

Blackhawk JTAG Emulators and Controllers are available

from a world wide network of industry resellers.
