OPERATIONAL MODES
The following table outlines the operational modes of the
SPT2110 video decoder. Operational modes are set by
register IH.

DESCRIPTION
Maintains proper NTSC or PAL as-
pect ratio for PC monitor scaling.
Provide support for ITU-R BT.601
(CCIR-601). NTSC active number of
pixels is 720 x 480 and PAL active
number of pixels is 720 x 512.
(NTSC format only.) Sampling at four
times the color subcarrier mode.
SPT2110 COMMAND REGISTERS
The SPT2110 is fully programmable through a standard
MPU interface, (i.e., multiplexed 8-bit address and data bus).
Interface to the command register bus is provided through
this interface. (See the Command and Address Registers
section.)
The command register allows for real-time control of the chip
state, input/output formats, video timing, and video process-
ing parameter values. Table XII is a summary of the com-
mand register functions for the SPT2110. Table XIII provides
a detail functional description of each register and its reset/
default settings.
